NYW Movie 2003-09-23
Well... when I said I'd have the movie by Wednesday I did mean a Wednesday about a month ago - but then again, better late than never! I'm not the greatest at meeting deadlines, which can occasionally be a slight drawback. Hum.
But now it doesn't matter - the wait is finally over. Today a classic is born! I give you... the New Yankee Workshop Webcam Time-Lapse Movie from Sept. 23rd 2003! A bit of a mouthful, feel free to ponder a better title while you're taking in the sights and excitement that is a day in the studio... or more likely while you're waiting for it to download, it's a shade over 17Mb. Still, smaller than the .Net framework.
[When I transferred this from the old MovableType post I uploaded the video to You Tube - bit less involved to watch than downloading it from the server ;)]
In this episode Norm can be seen working on a fancy floor-standing clock, then briefly bringing out the fancy chairs he was working on the last time he was in the shop, and then finally spending the rest of the day working on a fancy table thing with very fancy legs and some drawers.
You may notice that occasionally the frames morph into one another. This is just Microsoft Media Encoder freaking out a bit. It's late and I couldn't be arsed to try to fix it.
